It's maybe a tad late but tomorrow (4/3/15) at 10am, I'm helping to remove all the cardboard and plastic rod tubes from ID Fishing's stock room. The tubes are earmarked for the Byker waste disposal facility so if anyone wants some and they're in the area, please call into the shop. Many of the tubes were for bulk purchases and will be too big but there's lots of smaller tubes that could be ideal for rod postage or perhaps Norway trips.
