I went to Roker 6 in morning with my welsh neighbour we caught nearly 40 makki by 7.15 so headed back home
Went to pick mad rob up at 9 then Codfather and young don and headed up to lynmouth in the hope of a bass or something different from makki
4 hrs later and 8 rods , no bites and no fish so headed back to makki heaven Roker pier
I got 1 makki and 4 sand eels and 2 birds nests
Rob got 1 makki and 8 carling
Codfather got blankety blank cheque book and pen
And young don got a matching blankety blank
Poor day for bait fishing but nice scenery away from the crowds and a freezer full of makki
Bring on the colder weather and cod
