roker closed once again back to middleton hartlepool.

we headed for roker last night got there for 10pm to fish to tide up but unfortunatly gate was locked once again wasted time fuel wont be going back there for a long while now.headed to middleton once again there were 2 lads fishing with 3 rods out all they caught was a rokling .we had 3 rods out between me and my son 1 rokling bait used fresh rag mussel razor clam .think its time to put gear away now and focus on the boats me thinks just chucking good money away.

You should know by now mate that in seas like we have at the moment they lock for public safety, they do it on shields, pier, but it easier to get around that, its common sense, though climbing around the pier isnt, though im guilty of doing that on many occasions

you out sunday mate, a have a match and am pondering where to go, but it looks like shields piers gonna win over me again, with a sea like that and some coddies about, wats to lose but a double figure fish!! NOT!!!

not sure mate,been all over this week to see whats doing and it is still crap,today had a walk down hendon prom,and only small codling coming in (6inches long)
roker beach yesterday only flatties and coalies,all on the small side.

there were 4 climbing of wen we got there talked to them and they said it was coming over end .we wouldnt have went that far along it .but not in to climbing these days .never mind any big tides forecast well go elswhere from now on .they open it on low tides and no sea running but no good for anglers then as wont catch nowt as have seen over the last few weeks on there.except the pig i hooked in 2 but it was defo 1 off .
