You will be better off on the pier mate not much doing in the river because of the dredger. I'm going to have a walk down the pier later I will text you what's getting caught.

never seen any sign of the dredger yesterday lets hope its done a one back where it belongs

Arrived at roker about 12ish, walked to the first steps but too windy, so
turned round and went to the ratty, couple lads already fishing but nothing
caught but a small flatty, we stuck it out till the tide turned hopeing the
wind would ease, no such luck, so after 5 whities between us decided we
would try outside the golden lion, after 3 hours there with only 4 small flatties
and a snotty we called it a day at about 6oclock, apart from the wind it was
a canny day.
