[Vamp]

Fished it yesterday from 11am till 6ish had a dozen good whiting,on mackrel,lug and mussel.
Some well over a 1lb
Saw a few more caught around me,and a lad next to me had a couple of nice flatties,aswell as a canny few whiting and he was just using mackrel.
My mate hooked into a very nice fish but it got snagged up and he lost it {he was a lil gutted as he had a few chosen words afterwards}.
Was windy at first but it dropped right off so very enjoyable day and some good crack with the locals.

aye theres some canny residents on roker to crack on with m8, glad ya came down and enjoyed your self m8 and fish to go with the crac too

Well done mate and a few bonus fish isn't that bad. I remember fishing it on a christmas day a few years ago well into early hours and there wasn't a soul on then a few lads came on, its probablies the most peaceful night i have had on their and the crack was immense.

ya must have been fishing the roundhead mate,i fished the pier from 2pm til 8.45pm and only seen a few sized whiting caught,i fished the barrier but lads were saying decent sized whiting were caught from the roundhead

not sure if it was the round head i was at it was just behind the big wall just before the end
