Roker Pier 5/12/11

fished club comp last night couldnt win a bite all neet ,so decided to stay on and use what bait up i had ,soon has the tide slackened off at high water it was a fish a cast ended up with 5 codling just kept the one the rest went back , and the pier was open all night with just half a dozen anglers on .

p.s i must apoligise to norman for shaking hes nice fish off whilst trying to handball it up SORRY

Drop net always the way from the piers, i have one but you do still need two people are you can get in a right tangle.

Nice fish trev ,I was on shields pier next to rob who pulled a 5lb in on the flood ,after that it went dead ,good sea on then wind dropped a bit .
