roker pier all nighter

fished roker pier last night,first hour had coalies every cast then the whitties started we were pulling them in two at a time,but only one was size but i put him back,wife had one codling about 1lb.

about 3.30 we heard a car alarm going off so we packed up and the guys next to us also packed up,it was not our car but the other lads who came off when we did,some **** had put his car window out.

we had a good nights fishing plenty of sport used £20.00 of rag 6 macky and 20 crab between the two of us,this will tell you how good it was.

I will not be parking next to the pier any more i will park in one of the side streets in roker, felt really sorry for the bloke who had his car window put out.

Good nights fishing mate, hope nothing was stolen, radio, fishing gear etc...

Good idea to park away from the pier, local scum see it as easy pickings i suppose, no cctv in that area?

sounds like you had a good night untill the end. shocking that he got his window put out, some people probly got looking in peoples car when they know they are fishing on the end next time try parking in on of the bed and breakfast places on the top road. dont know why people have to spoil other peoples nights like this, mustnt have nothing better to do

Sounds a busy night and good numbers of fish.

Nothing worse than fishing and wondering if the cars going to be ok when you get back, bit further to walk from the top of the bank but worth it for a bit piece a mind.

A mate a mine had his window put out from a fishing venue a while ago and they threw is trainers away or atleast he thinks they did as they werent worth stealing !.

Be out at the weekend to test me new reel out, hope a few fish are about like the last few sessions ive had.

a good nights sport, pity about the scum, feel a bit for the poor bloke whose window got done, some dirty get last winter took a dump on my jags bonnet, then rubbed it all over the door handles at blyth, that was bad enough at 4am in the morning, hope they cut themselves to bits. regards korky...

the guy said nothing was missing but a screwdriver was found on his front seat, the car alarm must have frightened them.
