Havn't had a line out for about 8 weeeks lads,but been reading posts about Roker pier and the catch reports. I am After some general info regards state of tide etc regards best tide time. High, Low, Flood, Ebb, Small, Medium, Big, etc. Any info appreciated.
ive fished roker twice this week mate, i got there at 6.00am and had over 30 mackerel till 10-10.30 then they just disappeared!! early morning was best i thought,hope this was helpful
Thanks for the info mate - hoped for more response and will probably give it a shot over the weekend, early morning, although the latest posts and reports don't look to favourable, but hey if you don't go, you will never know, so will still give it shot. iv been a few times this week, getting fishing for around 10am ish, was taken maccy out but no where near as many as the lads fishing early morning,also they have seemed to be catching for a little bit then they just fook off somewhere..my next trip out will deffo be early one. dont forget the kids are off next week so the pier will be full to the brim 9 onwards.
there was a bit of a n/e swell on today and that has put a dampner on any mackerel close in but if any settled flat sea conditions forcasted might fetch them back in goodluck
Fished Roker this morning 7-30 till 10-00 didnt see one fish come in...good to get out and test me new reel though!!! hope you have better luck than me...
