Roker Pier Saturday 21st April 2012

Fished the pier from 11am till 7.30pm, had a really slow start nothing was taking my bait till mid afternoon, bait used(rag, squid, mackerel, bluey, mussel) but once one fish took the bait others followed. Ended up with 7 fish in total, 6 different species which were, flounder (9oz), dab, whiting(1lb 1oz), coalfish(11oz), pouting and a massive scorpion fish(15oz) (see pic) a few showers but stuck it out enjoyed the day

six species in one session ,thats really good going.Nice Scorpion fish too-got to be the biggest Ive seen on the pier.Well Done
