Cheers mate. Never fished there before - where's best to head and will I need rotten bottoms?

Any where near the end is snag free fishing but about. 1/3 of the up on the seaward side there is 1 pole sticking up that's the barrier some good fish get caught there and you don't need to cast very far but will lose gear even the bay side up to the 1st set of steps is worth a shot to good luck
