Roker Pier today.

Had a short session on Roker this afternoon. Fished 11am to 3pm. Sea flat as a Whitches Chest and bloody Windy for most of the time.

First cast had hardly hit bottom when the Whitys were on the Bait, and it didnt quieten down till an hour or so before Low water. Up to that time i had only once reeled in without a Fish on.

I stuck with a 5/o Pulley Rig with fresh Blacks,Rag & fresh Mussel throughout but still kept banging big Whitys out every cast. Great sport though and a much needed busy session. Pity Mr Cod didnt make an appearance mind.

hope to get down there next week try out me new second hand zziplex ssp and new penn fathom got of santa.
most times I have been down the pier is always closed, down on sunday gone just for a ride out, the pier was closed yet the sea was not that bad had a walk along to the rathouse shouder to shoulder anglers never seen it like that before.
the problem is for me its a 50 mile round trip more if I have to go up to shields pier
