Roker Pier Today

[Vamp]

Fished The pier 12pm til 7.00pm ish with two friends,wind was a lil strong.
Some nice whiting caught over 1lb,we had whiting up to a 1lb just over
a dozen between us,and i had a nice plaice (lovely condition),all returned.
Baits used mussel,razor,lug,squid,rag,mackrel.
Fish were all caught on lug,rag,tipped with squid or mackrel.
Cant wait to give it another bash.

yea eanjoyed it,made a change from blanking,and havent been there for at least 3 yrs so made a change

fished roker pier myself today and only saw 1 whiting caught,spoke to some lads on the roundhead and was told they had nowt,this was approx 3.30pm today

should of spoke to vamp and his mates, apparently quite a few fish caught on the end today

we got all our fish approx 4 onwards but i seen a good dozen decent whiting come off the end.
when we first got the there was a lil swell still coming in so use big razor/mussle baits hoping for a cod,seen the lads on the end caching with worm baits so started using them tipping off with other baits,thats when we started catching

Well done Vamp only managed the one whiting myself and whilst i was on the roundhead i only seen one codling around the 1.5lb mark.
