Roker Pier today

fished roker today from 3pm-7.45pm this being the first session since October and blanked. Fished up the top just next to the wall at the bunker from low water. Used fresh blacks, squid, razor and mackerel and only had 1 bite. Wind got up which made it pretty damn cold so decided to head home

Think i bumped in to you mate for your last couple of casts. Nice to meet you. Fished the bunker tonight half 7 til half 1, Had a few bites on small baits, size 4 hooks with blacks, bluey but mostly mussel on it's own. Got a dab, 2 whities, Tommy, Coalies, flounder and a long spined sea scorpion. Was flat as a witches. Tried bigger baits on a 1/0 flapper but they were coming back untouched. Needs a stir and bigger tides. Still, a got me dab for the hunt which made it worthwhile. Running out of winter species. Bring on the spring! Could have done with one of them pollock like toonboymc. Not to be for me this time though.

was down meself just took a handline this time from previous report i heard ,took 20 whiting 9 flounders over pound and a gud pollock 4lb in the bay side bait used was hermit crab and limpets

i think you may of been just down from me , i took 4 cod around the 3lb mark , using chopped pork ,tipped off with a single heinz curried bean .

Nice to meet you lumpsucker it wa a poor session however was good just to get out shame that wind picked up thought I settled for a nice take away and a couple of cheeky cans instead
