Had plenty of whiting on monday night, 3 size and one codling at 38cms. Had loads of undersize fish tho. Probs had 12 whiting,1 dab,1 codling,1 coalie and a pouting. Most of the sizeable whiting were on lug tipped with macky, the codling was on fresh crab. Got them at the little shelter thing in the left corner.

Fished roker again last nite had 16-17 fish but nowt sizeable, there was a young lad there who pulled in a pollock that went to 3.5lbs on my scales, he got it on the float just over the side at the top ov the pier, cracking fish!
was that very far up the pier????

Think he was fishing the sheltered bit at the very end but on the bottom level, he got it just b4 last light, didnt say what on tho

plenty whitings on roker round head last night, ended up with 45 whiting that were size, all caught on fresh macky strip. fished last of the flood first of the ebb.
some lads were walking off as i went on, there had been a bass 2lb ish caught and also a dogfish, october always seems to chuck a few unusual species up.
