does anyone know if roker fishes well at low water ? if so whats the best tactics, for mackeral or coalies? thanks in advance

Floating for coalies (or mackrel) and you will have to be at least past the half way stage to fish for mackrel really at low water otherwise it will be tough and you will lose a lot of gear as it's fairly shallow until near the top. You could use a small rod and just spin/float or big ro for feathers (better sport on smaller rod though). The pier can sometimes fish on low water but is better on the flood.
