Roker Pier

Castaway

After a 3 year absence from sea fishing, me mate (Pondlife) persuaded me to get the big rods out again. Anyway fished Roker Pier at the weekend and had a decent session, plenty of bites and a few decent flounder and a codling. To my dismay however, when leaving the pier at 7.30 Sat morning, the amount of litter that was left on the pier was disgusting. This encourages vermin and doesn't show the anglers in a good light.
We are easy targets and after the hunting and shooting brigade we are next on the list of the "anti's". Come on lads, its not difficult to take off the pier what you brought on.

Aye, Well,

It's like I've said dozens of times in the past. At this time of the year I can't wait for 22nd March to come around so as to get away to fly-fishing venues as far away from these verminous ba-----s as possible.
