I read somewhere that it was going to be mid December and that is probably right as it looks like the deck is nearly finished. But i wouldnt hold your breath with big tides and SE winds like today it would be locked again anyways
The Council have just advertised a tender for a refurb of the lighthouse and tunnel inside the pier. Works are planned for 2015. Not sure if the affects deck access to the public, possibly not?
