Fished 2 up 2 down on lug n mackerel. Fished better on the turn and no doubt some proper fish caught late on as it began to pick up. Plenty fishing on the pier early on then it faded. I believe someone caught a 5lb'r, cracking considering it was small stuff taking the bait.
Good to be out and even better to be home supping some brandy afterwards.

Nice to read your report, it seems nobody lets on what is being caught anymore. Pier and Hendon we have seen 4 & 5lb cod pulled in but Roker is a great spot and double figure fish can be pulled in if you have a bait in the water.
