roker pier???

Anyone got any idea when roker pier will be getting opened?? I was told november 5th, is that this year or in 2012!!thanks lads

Fished the ratty yesterday and was told by a couple local lads its going to be next year mate, too many rumoursgoing round though.

Just spoke to the council guy regarding the opening of the pier.
He said all the work to be carried out is weather permitting, and has been delayed
by about three weeks.
He said it would probably be open to the public around three weeks time, so lets
say it will be open in December some time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

He said it would probably be open to the public around three weeks time, so lets
