Fished roker pier today had two dabs on lug and mackerel.

3 sessions ive tried to get a dab on the pier for species hunt when everyone seems to get them welldone m8

the dabs i got at horden were canny i kept one and it was full of roe, i get them using size 2 hooks with really small baits i seem to get a couple of dabs every time i go fishing

Cheers mate. I find using old smelly bait works well for dabs using a simple paternoster or pully rig with size 1 hook.

Size 4 hooks mate, they have really small mouths. Try the bunker, had a few there. Rag or lug or mussel
