kicked away this morning at 5 on roker ,couple of whiting bites but only landed a 6 inch dab ,wind was horrendous so left just after nine,very poor i think its just about over for the season

yor right Darren best fish was just over two pound ,i may as well have used a course rod this season

personally not been a good one, couple of codling below min takeable size, the only good thing has been some decent whiting recently, im taking it as over till the weather warms a bit except for some flattie bashing back on wirral, clean off the course tackle for some carping and hopefully pike and then wait for the bass to appear - if the netters have not taken them all
