Not a lot to report really, 9am start, wind was a stengthening NW, we tried a couple of wrecks, but with a 1.5 drift and some canny gusts we found it difficult to hold bottom, and when i managed to get to the bottom we were either drifting off the wreck or i was getting snagged.
Decided to move onto more sheltered hard ground marks, even then we still encountered a pretty fast drift, but did manage to start picking up the odd fish, we decided at around 2pm to head back to the marina with the grand total of 7 Codling and 3 mackerel, biggest fish around 4lb.

Back end of the week definatly looks more promising from a wind perspective, im eager to give the wrecks a good go, but the days ive managed to get out the conditions have been far from ideal.

It'll come ;) there's a lot of fishing days between now and October , bound to be a few nice flat warm ones in there somewhere :D , even windy ones are better than work or sitting at home though ;)
