Didnt think i was ever going to get out as my usual partner pulled out at the last minute of what should of been a 06:30 start, after some scouting about i found a replacement at 9am and headed off to the marina.
The trip was only meant to be a sea trial after a refit so i as long as there was no problems the fishing was just secondary, which is just as well because the fishing was poor.

I only managed 2 small pansized codlings and 2 dozen mackeral, the sea got up with a freshening SE wind so we headed in just after 12, so only 3 hours, the major up to this trip was that i encountered no problems at all with the boat so i marked the trip as a success.

I still have a few small jobs to do which il carry out during next week as the forecast looks poor.

Good to hear you are back in the water Stuart, shame the fishing wasnt upto much. Let me know when your out next.

It is always good to get out and the fishing was very very poor this weekend so catching anything was a plus.
