rotten bottoms

anybody used this rotten bottom clips before? how do they work ? how effective are they ? how are they casting wise? i normally use the upturned bait clip ....just wondered in case any one of you guys had used this type of rotten bottom ....cheers.

you put that clip on your rig clip
tie a bit old line from the rig clip to your plunder then just before u cast out attach your plunder to the rotten bottom clip then it comes off the clip when it lands

I Use them with a gemini link for a rotten clip down rotten bottem ,


Use them on a pulley pennel aswell,

only rotter i ever use & never had any probs casting or releasing.
or if i'm just using a flaper then i just tie a double loop in bottom of rig body & open the eye up on the lead, this way there is nothing 2 catch on any old line that mayb snagged up, the little hook rotters can get hung up.

Ive used the clips with no problems,but i like your idea Billzo about opening up eye on lead must give that a go,cheers mate
