For Sale Royal Air Force Goretex jacket - size 200/110

Brand spanking new, never issued, size 200/110, comes with zip-out quilted liner.

I took it out of its bag, tried it on, and put it straight back in the bag when I found it didn't fit

Sleeves are too short for me, otherwise I'd be keeping it

These are great jackets as an outer shell - waterproof and breathable Goretex - and you can use it with or without the liner. This type of jacket does not come with a hood as standard.

The long length gives a lot more protection than many jackets these days.

Buyer gets his or her rear in gear and collects it from me, or we can meet at a fishing mark for a hot handover on a suitable day and time.

Jacket cost me £20 which is what I want for it.

At this price I won't take any offers.

I might be persuaded to trade for a bunch of leads (looking for plain 3 and 4oz, and especially 5 and 6oz, and/or 6oz grippers)

If nobody wants it I'll just give it away to one of my mates.

200/110 refers to length or height and chest size respectively.

In UK military sizes you have:

170 = short

180 = regular

190 = tall

200 = taller than tall

So 200 /110 would be very tall (6' 2" plus) and 44"/45" chest or thereabouts.

I can't ever recall having seen that label on any British military issue goretex kit I've either been issued with or bought independently.

I'll check the jacket when I get in later this evening but, from memory, most military kit has the item description, military/NATO size and a Name and Number space on the inner label and that's it - military kit tends to be unbranded deliberately.

The same jacket offered here is £45, plus £40 if you want a hood as an optional extra. That site also has a lot of information on army/forces goretex garments as well.
