well everywhere looked promising last night but me and scotty couldn't be chewed getting snowed/rained on so headed for bit shelter at the factory. bites straight off at low tide, I picked up a lil codling about half a lb. then scotty got a kanny nock and was into something that was pulling back, straight back into a snag that is; on the way in and lost it. i'm guessing maybe a 1 or 2 lber by the looks of the bend. went quiet for a kanny while up to high water and I got a few taps that I egnored but when I was reeling in turns out there was a 1lb n a bit codling on. scotty picked up a tiny codling to save the blank and I had one more codling very small on last cast. seems like the bigger fish just werent playing ball, just annoying baby codling tugging at the bait but not getting hooked. All the fish were on lug n mussel nothing else got touched. scotty might put pics up. cheers to neil off here for dropping us off much appreciated mate!
