You know Keith, I`ve supported SAFC since 1964, and after whats gone on this season, I`m past caring.

It`s been one kick in the nuts after another, and all we need now is for the Quinn deal to fall through.

Another season with fat bob in charge doesn`t bear thinking about.

It\'s a tough one for me Tony, I was all set to pack it all in, but I started taking my 12 year old son a couple of seasons back and he really enjoys it (despite the crap this year) so I\'m still undecided. However, if BM asks for a ridiculous amount and a takeover falls through, he won\'t get anohter penny of my money.
 
I have it on good authority that the Quinn Deal is pretty much signed and sealed and one of the backers is the bloke that owns ryanair.

It was also said in this same conversation that when quinn is installed that Kevin Phillips will be back to play????

Kieth not one to build your hopes up BUT


the company i work for deal with Safc at business level (supplies/packaging sponsorship etc etc ) and it is my account :( :D ,i was over there yesterday to put the finer points onto next years package and how much they need to spend to see how much sponsorship they get back etc etc - Now this is the bit that might give you a hard on - the Top Bloke in finance (i Cant name him ,but he is a mag and there is a brand of crisps named after him and liniker does the adverts ;) ) told me that HE might not be doing the \"negotiations\" this year as a Shuffle at top level is on the cards - IE he is being replaced Possibly,by someone elses Financial Director . Just letting you know an all that ;)
 
also once the rumour mill starts ;) ;) ;) . when i see it in black and white(pardon the pun) thats when i beleive :D :D. nice if it were true though. i do think we will get Niall Quinn :D :D

3rd Guy down on the list of Who`s Who at the Club - now why would he feel threatened if he was`nt at Director level ??? - if he was JUST in the Accounts Dept ,he would be ok - just letting you know What was ACTUALLY said - not here say said ;) ;) - personally i hope he keeps his job and is working under \"Uncle Bob\" for many a year ,cos he is a really nice bloke - and a Mag :D :D

I was born, and have lived in North Shields all my life, but that\'s a question I\'ve asked myself on numerous occasions.

When I was 8, my late dad got given a couple of tickets for the game at home to Stoke City. (we won 2-0)

We went with a bloke who I later found out was one of the directors !

After the game we went to the Roker Hotel for a meal.

It turned out to be a meal with most of the team ( Herd, Monty, Mulhall, Harvey, Park etc.)

You can imagine the effect that had on an 8 year old....I`ve been hooked since then.

Keith - i hope your a happy bunny - not one to say i told you so ,but i told you so - a bottle of Bud will suffice - i can tell you the date of final talks and the likes but will PM you Tues night ;) ;)
