Cheers for the results as always Geordie.

I managed a 22cm Flounder 2nd chuck and that was the only action I saw all day. For the most part baits were coming back untouched - even the crabs couldn't be arsed today :o

Nice to see a couple of Plaice, surprising too as the water was the colour of oxtail soup up at Hendon

Aye stew I fished the pier for 1 bite an under size coalie 33cms gutted and to make things worse our lass had a flounder off the blast and there was also a 41cm smooth hound on the blast which was released am pleased to say:)

Been saying for a while now that it is only a matter of time before the Smuts start showing in greater numbers off our beaches. Bet the lad who landed it had mixed feelings - it will have felt like something much better on the way in only to be ineligible to weigh in. But a nice fish nonetheless

Are the pictures from The Star Wars Bar Geordie. Ha ha. Lost the will to live today on The Ledge..crabbed off all five hours !! Well done to those that caught
