Been alot more fish out of the river at the moment, and better stamp of fish too. As said bwfore walkway fishes at its best with smaller tides, which we have at the moment.
Also depending on what state of tide your fishing, its best to fish the middle and top end on a flooding tide, and the bottom end between the jetties on an ebbing tide, but small and medium tides can and do pay dividens here...
thanks ever so much for that information andrew , what a nice chap![]()
so andrew tell me ? pennel rig to target the codling or two hook flapper for scratchin
get ya sell down the walkway in the morning , bit fishin n a bit crack on i will be there at 10Try both. On one hand been some good codling caught, on the other hand, there's a lot of good whiting about too.
If ya fishing two rods then ya sorted one rig on one rod, the other rig on the other rod. Personally I'd stick to pennel rigs, because if the codling come in well with the tide, and that odd good fish appears, at least you know if ya hook one good'un there's two hooks in it for a better hook hold.
It's up to u though as your the one fishing, I'm stuck in the house bored oot me mind!![]()
