Fished shields pier yesterday for bottom water thinkin thy might of been a few codlings takin on the flood of the tide,first chuck had a undersize coalie next chuck got another 1,decided to use a 2 hook flapper and was gettin them in double shots every chuck, a got a coalie about 1lb 1/4 - 1lb 1/2 (decent coalie), i also had a dab and my first lemon sole, when the tide started to flood a decided to have a chuck on the small wall thinkin thy shud b a few codlings and i ended up wif a codling just under 2lb was a gd days fishing overall good sport.
