Fished just to the right of the pier from 10am, Me mate JonnyD reckons there's aload of Bass kicking about there. If there is I didnt see any. Nowt for an hour then landed a Flounder. Al stick a photo on for u 2 check what it is. Couldnt get the Hook from down its throat so cut close as I could get. Sum1 told me the hook rots in a few weeks or summik...

Wind picked up so I moved onto The Groyne to fish the tide in for a few hours. When I got there there was nee wind at all. 2nd chuck and I landed a small Codling, but gripper got stuck to the rocks and when I jerked it, the Fish came off, and landed on the rocks. a wasn't gannin doon to get it. After an hour I landed a smallish Whiting. Canny Day by My recent standard :D:D:D

Bait used was Rag, Lug and Mackerel...:exclam:
 
eye thats the best thing to do if its down its throut,i dont even try when there that far down as it only distresses the fish more and wont swim off .
hard lines losing that cod on the rocks, bugger when that happens{some other choice words would have been used al bet}where on the groine did you fish.
oh well done on getting somit out.

If ya walk past the hotel, just as you turn left on straight on the wall. Spot on in good conditions. Can use the wall for baiting up n that. Probs me best mark a fish from. (AT THE MINUTE)...;)

Not bad bestnest. I heard of one bass getting caught off the hole in the wall (think that's before the first gate but might be wrong) midweek but just a small one like.
 
good session stevo wel av to go down the beach at dusk one night get you a few bass ha ha,ive cleaned and oiled my mag up for sunday ready to unleash the beast ha ha turrbo casts ha ha HOWAY THE COD!!!!!!! haha

Fished the Little Beach for an hour or 2 Thurs nite....Blankety Blank ! :o
Hope you catch lads.
 
popper is a surface lure mate, with a flattish from so it pops on the surface causing a disturbance with a little jerk of your rod, or change of pace on the retrieve... sometimes you get the buggas follow you right in and just when you think they are going to go BOOM! and hit it... they head for home =( but such a buzz

Sound like a plan that like m8, where is a good area to do that in?
