hi lads im thinking ov gettin a salt flattie it says its a 1 to 3oz does any 1 no what they r like using a 3oz on them r they ok or floppy and what r they like winding in with a 3oz without a fish on i will b using it in the river for flatties i dont on if 2 go for the salt bass cos it may b stiffer cos 2 to 4oz

salt flattie is not an overly floppy rod - it can handle 3oz fine

Salt flatty rods are fine, I bought one last w/end, a mitchell 12ft premium,(34.99) its mint!, nice and stiff, gotta a 31cm flatty on it(returned), I use a 2oz lead bomb hammered flat, no probs casting, nice sporting rod
