saltburn pier

has anybody got a good word for the light\'s on saltburn pier,i fish there now and then and the fishing is really bad,last year however it was good.As i have only been twice this year is it me or the light\'s. anybody else with the same problem????????

The lights have certainly made a big difference to early evening fishing but the lights are suppose to be turned off after midnight.
Afew of the lads that do fish Salty have not got a good thing to say about the lights...

yeah i\'ve heard bad reports too. maybe better after midnight when the lights go out

It fishes very poorly when the lights are on,but as Tala states they do go off after midnight (which they do as i can confirm this) if you want to fish the pier i suggest going anytime after midnight as the fish (if there about) feed more readily, i now stay away from a lit pier and only gan down for early morn HW usually around the 3am mark
