Salting Razorfish Cresswell area

I'm planning another trip up to Cresswell next week from Tuesday to Monday.I noticed that the tides are very big.I was going to have a look at Druridge bay for signs of razorfish as i've noticed loads of shells washed up after a big sea.Has anyone ever had any luck with gathering these from this area.Or are the razors to far out to get too ?
