Me and Insanojackson had a look out today, same place as yesterday, sea had dropped quite a bit but still had a nice little swell on, perfect I thought, not really the case, perfect for fishing but not perfect for catching fish. Ian managed a rockling and I managed a codling of 2lb 7onz, mind you Ian's rockling give a better bite than the codling, unbelievable.
After about 3 hours it seemed pretty obvious that we weren't going to be weighed down with fish, we weren't even getting bites so we moved off to the south end of Blyth beach, sea was starting to pick up again, as was the wind, once again conditions really did seem perfect, not to be though, no more cod. Ian did manage another rockling though on his last cast, I admire his consistency
Codling taken on rag and razor (again)
