Early start today (4:00am). Worth it though as from the Off Peter (skipper) had us into Fish, on my 2nd drop I wa I to something HUGE!! Almost to the surface and my Shock Leader snapped! Goodbye Fish!! GUTTED! The rest of the lads all started Hoying the Codling on Deck, and all I could produce was a 1lb Haddock...
After another Couple hrs I eventually got out the traps with a nice Cod of 6.5lb. The Skipper could not do enough to get Us into nice Fish, then after a position swap I Hooked into a Guddin, ended up bringing a nice Double Cod of 10lb up. Taken the sweep and putting a Smile on My Face !! Ended up with approx 70 Fish between 7 Anglers! Great day out. And belta Crack off the Lads on Boat, as I went on by myself ended up havin a right laugh. Ended up with 4 Cod 2 Macky and a Haddock all Shads were catchin today.
Deffo be using Peter and the Sapphire again and would totally recommended Him to anyone!!!
Back out on AliCat in morning, see what that brings.
