1-0 sunderland - couldn't have picked a better time to play newcastle

Im not really into footy but cisse is expected back 1st feb and shola has a good record against sunderland..also gouffran is expected back before the game also he only has a slight knock...Ben arfa isnt injured either

And I'm not a Sunderland or Newcastle fan...but
Cisse, Gouf, HBA all rated "doubtful" according to Skysports and "uncertain" according to NUFC.
Remy wont win his appeal and Cabaye is gone for good now - very depleated Newcastle team, I just dont see where the goals are coming from.

If they all dont play then Newcastle's top goalscorer is...Dummet...with 1 goal (again according to Skysports)

With centre back pairing of Taylor and Williamson I can see a goal getting leaked and Sunderland hanging on for 1-0.

16 points.

18 goals

Is the difference after 23 games.

Better or worse than expected?

3 points or a draw?

Well you know deep down that Sunderland are going to win you don't want to lose a north east darby:red: --- wer ganging ta wembley and wer tacking the cup back wer us:p:):):);)

1-1 draw i think, the game has come at a good time for Sunderland, I will be in the stadium from 12.15 to soak up the atmos.

If Remy's red card hearing is not done in time, he may play also.

it got done today mate suspended for the next 3 games the other lad got his rescinded

Yer just seen it,shame he is our best chance of a goal.

Still sticking with 1-1, just hope we have more will to win than the last two, Sunderland up for it more than Newcastle of late.

with whats happened at newcastle of late and the two dire performances from sunderland against kiddeminster and stoke it's hard to tell who's picked the right time to play either team, as much as i would like the toon to win i allways think that if it's a draw then for obvious reasons it's a better result allround.
just a mention about the cup game, i said i thought sunderland would beat chelsea and beat the unrecognizable man-u allthough that was a scrape through to get to the final, i just car'nt see them beating man city and this coming from a toon fan, i was surprised at how many off the red and whites i knew that had given up and were talking more of relegation, well all change in the last few weeks.
