new to lure fishing ... apart from Mackerel bashing with feathers in the past. Just got myself a SavageGear MPP 50g Predator Spin with a Penn Fierce 4000 reel. Any thoughts on this combo for general pollack, wrasse, coalie, mackerel fishing marks between SS pier and Seaham.
Lol ... should have probably asked before I bought it! Seems good to me as far as my lmited knowledge goes. I was surprised how far I could cast a small lure on 10Ib line. Big difference to my beachcasters and heavy ground mulipliers etc.
