7 members fished today's match, a catch, measure & release at the Copthorne Hotel on the Tyne - this was a longest fish comp, but probably due to all the fresh water coming down the river, the fish were few & far between. Any specimens were thin on the ground too

1 - Phil Smithson, 7 for 188cm (incl. 4 eels)
2 - Kev Moffat, 7 for171cm, including longest 34cm (winning Trophy with greatest number of fish)
3 - Paul Roper, 4 for 92cm, including 3rd longest 31cm for third place
4 - Gary Wilson, 3 for 86cm, including joint longest 34cm for second place
5 - Steve Haliburton, 3 for 75cm
6 - Mick Roper, 3 for 67cm
7 - Mick Ure, 1 for 21cm
