scorpion fish?

Hi, Im new to the site, was meant to put this pic up last week but registration and no internet stopped me. I was wondering if anyone could confirm or deny that this pic (if I managed to upload it correctly!) is a scorpion fish? Caught 2 along with a couple of small coley last sunday off the end of the groyne at south shields. Any comments welcomed.

it is a long spine scorpion fish. or bull head -granny fish they are not poisonous but it is said you can get a infection because they can live in dirty water

All of the above spot on, had some big ones from Shields pier in years gone by.

ye got one last year on boat about a mile out,cut it off with shad stuck to it.dident know what it was but looked evil and poisoness,nobody wanted to touch it,s if you get one with a shad on it was mine:red::red:
