I really cant believe the antics out of joey barton against man city. The man is an absolute disgrace and should never be allowed on a football pitch again. I personally feel ashamed when I think hes a scouser like myself. I dont think he should be dealt with just by the fa I think the law should be involved aswell and get the scumbag locked up where he belongs. Im sure some of the other prisoners would really take to him with his rick astley quiff and his rat rash :D

totally agree with you m8, he gets paid thousands of pounds a week, doing wat some kids would give an arm to be able to do, what kind of rollmodel is he.
he`s nowt but a thug, should be banned for life, no amount of anger management or community service will change him.

can only agree boys there is no need he was the captain as well wot kind of example is he showing the youth coming threw arm band ,contract and playing carreer should be ended by the club with a massive fine donated to a charity the man will never change a sentence for gbh would be given to any one of us if we had done half of wot he has done all the money he has and he looks like a raggy tashed greasy haired tramp

its a different world the dizzy heights of the top flight!
most of them apart from a few exceptions are just the same as mr barton:mad:
gifted at an early age have no real education to speak of because there lives revolve around football:( and when they chuck the dummies out they think this is exceptable behavior because theyve made it and have the money to pay off any fine and live quite happily for the rest of there natural:mad:
only problem with that is when footballs not there anymore they cant handle the real world and turn to most evils like booze/drugs/gambling:( all that wasted talent:(
that aside never liked barton even when he played well for the toon:mad:
if i done that my feet wouldnt touch the ground! asault/gbh the lot!
i really think when stuff like this happens the police and courts should be involved regardless of matches or cup finals etc
then they might get a small idea of how the real world works:exclam:

just to show barton to be the prat that he is, there`s a young lad works with me (welding) who was at newcastle united, jon carver, let him go, for apparently not having enough weight to make it. he still plays 4 times a week for teams in various leagues, and according to lads watching and playing against him, he`s untouchable. ! .
what am getting at is that you, or me, could`nt meet a nicer lad, feet on the ground, polite, willing to learn and just good to be working with.
pitty the likes of barton, were`nt brought up like this. ! .
end of rant.

I used to coach my sons team from the age of 8 up until last season at under 15 level. I saw so many kids (including my own) who had so much potential, but are sadly looked over by the academies because they are not built like Wayne Rooney or are not the 'finished article'.
Truth is, with the right coaching from an early age, these kids could and should have saved clubs a fortune in transfer fees or sold on to make profit for the clubs, but are looked over for the likes of the Bartons and Balotellis of this world!
