Fished the club match last night. Didn't have the best of starts pulling peg 73 out of the bag :(, after a bit humming and haahing decided to give it a bash and got down there for the start at 6pm. Was a long, hard evenings fishing, only managing three tommy codling and a shore slug. Finally lost the will to continue about 11:30 when that wind started to get up; not like me to sack it before the end but by then I'd had enough (and I was by no means the first either).

Did get one nice bonus to make the night worthwhile, just a shame you can't weigh these fellers in as he was a good 2lb...

Baits wasted were rag, lug, bluey and squid, had two codlets on the bluey, one on the ragworm and the slug took lugworm. Roll on an improvement in the weather, clear seas and the flatties and Pollock please...
