Well got some bait sorted on saturday morning had rag lug muscle and razor. Got down at about 6ish went to the southern most ramp. set up my gear just bofore it got dark. The whole beach was full of people and it looked class as night fell with all the tip lights and head torches all the way along the beach. Anyway caught nowt not a sniff had 1 bite. so decided to pack up around 9. Thanks to the guy who gave me a tip light as mine was all coroded since the last time i was out. anyway was nice to get out on me first trip of the seaon. Seemed far to warm to be fishing for cod from the shore though.. Til next time!

I was the lad give you the tip light, nice to meet you. Fish were a bit scarse, I got one rockling, at least one of the lads to the south, on the path pulled a fish but dont know what other than that heard nothing. fished the pilot Hartlepool, at Highwater last night nothing, but a few whities were getting caught, went to the light house corner to finish off the last of my bait nothing, think ill start to travel further north or stock my bait up for a couple of weeks, as like you say its still a bit warm.

Thanks a lot codbiter once again mate for the tip light. Im the same i think i will wait another couple of weeks until i have another venture out or maybe try off one of the piers like shileds. Nice to meet you too mate!
