4 of us decided to fish the Pier last night. Session was from 6.30pm to about Midnight. Lovely night and only a few Bashers on there with very few Mackies about. Poor tide & fishing over low water wasnt the best but just good to get out.
First cast for me & Ron produced a Flounder each but after that it was very slow. I ended with 3 Flounders, Ronnie with 2 & a Mackie & Glen had 1 & a Mackie plus a very nice Lobster, which was returned even though it was a good size.
There was one Doggie further down the Pier but apart from that nothing out of the ordinary turned up.
Bit of excitement as the RNLI Helicopter + the Hartlepool Lifeboat + 4 Rib Lifeboats turned up. Seems some scroats had phoned saying 2 lads in a Boat were in bother off the Pier. Buggers want to rot in hell. God knows what that must have cost & someone else might have needed them elsewhere. Bloody Morons.
Still, an enjoyable night in good company & lovely weather. The sky was beautiful at times with Lightening flashing over the horizon. Magic.

Then this bonny lad turned up next to my Box. It was flapping in the Wind so surprised my little Camera coped with it.
