Fished near the spiles near the car Nowt couple of blokes either side Nowt.used macky mussel peeler razor blacks squid nice day to e out enjoyed my day.

Hard luck but good to be out.

I know the occasional fish comes from there but have never liked the Spiles as a shot. Rough as owt and v over-rated.

Club match yesterday. Pier is pegged 1-75 so have to be kept clear and members in the comp have priority for all other pegs as well.

Was slow going on the pier anyway, few fish caught, winner came from the 40s but nowt caught near me on peg 59 (I had a tommy first chuck then nothing after that). Did hear of a 4lber off the Spiles before the comp kicked off
