seaham north-sat night

tried the pier sat night, half a dozen fishing when i arrived at around 9pm. they;d had a few whiteys and a dogfish.
got 13 whiteys during the night, one double shot on the pennel

also one plaice and then this little cutie......

dont know if they normally do this as its my first one, but it curled up and looked more like the stomach buster in alien!!

baits used were lug, rag and mackerel. no cod im afraid but really chuffed with the alien...returned

that was a thornback i assume if so welldone mate a species close to home

never weighed it sean but only small, guess about a pound to ponnd and a half tops
