Seaham SAC. Clifford Plate 4/3/18

Well 50 hardy Anglers including two lady members, fished for the Clifford Plate today, in what looked perfect conditions, dropping big sea, plenty of colour, dull cold day. With the pier awash and out of bounds, most headed for the beaches and the cliffs within the club boundaries and all expecting a good day.
HOW WRONG WERE WE. !!!!!

Four (4) Anglers weighed in a shocking total of five (5) fish for a grand total of 6.5lb.
We knew there was a lot of feed in the water after the Storms but this was shocking.

RESULTS.

1st D.Furnival. 2 fish for 2.37lb (Old Beach)
2nd S.Tubman 1 fish for 1.99lb (Hall Beach)
3rd D.Stoker 1 fish for 1.27lb (Hall Beach)
4th I.Ainsley 1 fish for 0.87lb (Hendon Cliffs)
5th A.N.Other
