Seaham Spiles today

Fished the Spiles 10pm to 3.30pm with a Sea that was a good bet for a Fish or two.
Surprisingly there was only one other Angler there who turned out to be Lynnser of the Forum.(good to meet you m8)

To the fishing, had Live Blacks, Rag, fresh Mussel & Crab Cart to chuck at them and they sure liked the Grub.

Had 3 Codling to 3lb before the tide started to Ebb and sadly not a bite after. Just went dead.
The Weather was dire and the last of my Fish took the bait during a nasty Thunderstorm, thought I was going to get a Curly Perm reeling the bugger in.

I have never fished well from there, nice spot though can sit in your car and keep warm

We both lost 4 leads there though. Like I said, I was trying to catch my cod with lead poisoning......

If I ain't catching it's nice to see someone else doing the business alongside me.
Was going out today too but I said to Bob I don't want to become the default babysitter for my new grandson but the 1st occasion reared its head today.
Will be out tomorrow for definite though.
