Are there any tackle shops in Seaham? I've done a bit if searching on the web but all I can find is old info.

no , closest are at horden or grangetown or Hendon .

Nearest decent shop is NETS in Grangetown; it's only 10 minutes up the road.

Wouldn't bother with the shop in Horden, unless you are one of the "in crowd" you usually get given the dregs of the bait (at least that was my experience and the reason I stopped using them).

I think you will find nets to be A ok for bait and a very good selection of tackle as for the other shop cant comment never been there.
tend to get my bait from frazers in Gateshead or moonfleet both shops spot on
