I fished Seaham hall beach yesterday evening. Caught a couple of cod between one and two pounds.
On my last cast I snagged something heavy. After quite some heaving it turned out to be a piece of braid which had caught onto my shock leader knot. I thought it best to pull it all in and throw it in the bin. About 10 minutes and 150 yards later, the end eventually came over the side with a 3 pound live cod on the end!!!
